What we're looking for

We have been tasked by a Germany's top consumer comparison marketplace to recruit a DevOps Engineer.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a talented DevOps to take a prominent role within the company's product development team.

Your Responsibilities

Configuration, maintenance and expansion of our development, test and production environments
Support of the infrastructure in the areas of server, network, backup and virtualization
Implementation and optimization of deployment processes
System documentation and monitoring
Close cooperation with the development departments
Takeover of standby services

The position is available to be in-person in Munich 4 days of the week, with 1 day being work from home.

Visa sponsorship to relocate to the Germany is available. Candidates should at least have B2 level of German language skills

Your Skills

3-4 years of DevOps or System administration experience
Very good Linux knowledge (Debian)
Very good knowledge of the administration of a web stack (Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL)
Experience in the DevOps area (CI / CD)
Experience in virtualization, containerization and load balancing (Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, HAProxy, etc.)
Knowledge of networks and routing (DNS, firewall, NAT)
High willingness to learn and work, ability to work in a team and a conscientious and independent way of working
